When several people care for someone, it’s easy to lose the overall picture: one day you focus on whether the pill was taken, another on an appointment, another on an expense… but it’s hard to see how the whole week went. That’s what the Weekly report is for: it gathers on a single screen everything that happened over the last seven days — how many routines were completed, the expenses written down, the notes you all left and the turn changes — and shows it to you at a glance, without you having to add anything up on your own.
It’s especially useful at two moments: when you want a quick sense of how the care is going without going screen by screen, and when you need to show it to someone outside — a relative who lives far away, the family doctor or a healthcare professional — so they understand in a minute how the week went.
How to open it
Open the report
The report lives on the «Group» tab (in the bar at the bottom of the screen), because it sums up how that group’s care has gone. Enter «Group» and, just above «Recent activity», tap «Weekly report» . There’s nothing to prepare or fill in: CarePilot pulls the week’s data together and shows it to you in a moment.
What it shows
What it shows you at a glance
The first thing you’ll see, at the very top, is three figures that sum up the week in one go: «Completed» (the routines that did get done), «Missed» (the ones left undone) and the completion «Rate», which is the percentage of everything that was completed. That rate is the fastest way to know whether the week went well without counting anything yourself.
Just below, the report gets into the detail:
- «Breakdown by type» — tells you separately how much of each thing was completed: «Medications» (the doses), «Appointments» and «Tasks», each with its progress bar. So you see at a glance where things are slipping most, if anything is slipping at all.
- «Expenses recorded» (how many there were and the money total), «Caregiver notes» (the observations you all left during the week) and «Turn changes» (the times the handover passed from one person to another).
Moving between weeks
The report always opens on the current week, but you can look back to recall how a particular week went or compare weeks with one another.
Look at previous weeks
To change week use the two arrows: the left one takes you back in time and the right one brings you back towards the present. So you don’t get lost, the title always tells you which week you’re on: «This week» if it’s the current one, or «N weeks ago» if you’ve gone back.
Exporting to PDF (Pro)
Sometimes seeing the report on the phone isn’t enough: you want to save it, print it or send it to someone. For those cases you can turn it into a document.
Take the report away as a PDF
With the Pro plan, the «Export PDF» button turns the week’s report into a clean, tidy document you can print or share by WhatsApp, email, etc. — very handy for taking to the doctor or showing the family. If your group is on Free or Plus, the button is still there, but tapping it will offer you an upgrade to Pro instead of generating the PDF.
The automatic summary every Monday
There’s no need to remember to open the report each week: CarePilot can let you know every Monday with a summary of the week that has just ended, directly as a notification on your phone. That alert goes to the group’s organizer, who is usually the one holding the reins; the other members don’t receive it, but they can open the report whenever they like, as you’ve already seen.
Turn it on or off
If you’re the organizer, this is your call and you can change it whenever you want. Go into «Settings», then «Notifications», and look for «Weekly summary» : turn it on if you want the Monday alert, or off if you’d rather check it on your own (this switch only appears in the Settings of whoever organizes a group; the other members don’t need it, because it isn’t sent to them). To avoid bothering you with empty alerts, it’s only sent if there was some activity that week.
