Each member, their access level.
Not everyone in the family needs to edit everything. Each member joins with a role and fine-grained permissions you define.

Creates the group, invites others, manages members, edits patient data and deletes the group if needed. Usually whoever started CarePilot.

Active caregiver
Takes shifts, marks intakes and tasks, logs expenses, adds notes and contacts. Most of the daily work happens with this role.

Observer
Sees all group information but cannot modify anything. Ideal for distant relatives who want to stay informed without interfering.
Fine-grained permissions (Pro)

Is CarePilot a medical app?
No. CarePilot is a care coordination tool. It does not provide medical advice, does not interpret clinical data and does not replace professional medical judgment. It is a smart agenda for the caregiving family.
Is my medical data secure?
Yes. All sensitive information is encrypted on your device before being uploaded (end-to-end encryption). Only members of your group can decrypt it. Not even we have technical access to the content.
Does it work without internet?
It needs a connection to sync with the rest of the group, but downloaded data remains available offline. Medication notifications work even if you lose connection.
How much does it cost?
The free plan is permanent and enough for most families. Plus (from €4.99/month with the annual plan) and Pro (from €8.33/month) raise the limits and add extras like expense analysis or PDF export. You have the full breakdown in the comparison table above. CarePilot is funded only by subscriptions: it shows no ads on any plan, not even on the free one.
Does CarePilot have ads?
No. CarePilot shows no ads on any plan, not even the Free one. The app is funded solely by the Plus and Pro subscriptions, so we don't sell your attention or your data: what you see is only your care coordination.
Can I delete all my data?
Yes, anytime. From Settings → Delete account we erase everything: your account, groups where you were admin, your associated data. Complete and irreversible. GDPR Art. 17 compliant.
What if I lose the recovery code?
If you lose the code and sign out from all devices, encrypted data cannot be recovered — not even by us. It is the consequence of real encryption. That is why it is important to keep the code in a safe place.
How many people can use the same group?
In the free plan, up to 3 members. In Plus, 10. In Pro, unlimited. Each member joins with their own role and permissions.
